The first ever Yankee-Doodle Fun Trial was held at (you guessed it) Yankee Flats, near Vernon BC on Sunday November 9th. Although we didn't expect many riders, a total of nine came out to enjoy a good day of fun in this new area. A total of ten sections were ridden twice, and to make things simple, we just two lines, an "A" and a "B". The loop took in some nice woodland trails, and the sections were a variety of rocks and cambers plus a hill climb. At the end of the day the riders enjoyed some hot dogs and Opti Trophies supplied by Outlaw Trialsport, and judging by all the favorable comments, this event could be a regular on the Trials Calendar.
